Titanium brake pad backing plate for Chevy Cobalt SS Brembo.

By customer demand we are introducing a new titanium brake shim for the Chevy Cobalt SS fitted with the Brembo caliper option. This also fits Hawk Brake Pad Model # 548. Currently it is available in the standard 0.020" thickness (0.5mm), however additional thicknesses are available on request.

Thicker version of brake heat shield for BMW 135i available

The BMW 135i is a powerful yet heavy car. There are known issues with brake caliper components overheating on this car. Earlier this year we worked with a couple of BMW racing teams out in California and a local Chicago race shop to develop our titanium alloy brake heat shield for this application. The track results have shown a clear benefit with reduced brake fade and longer lasting brake fluid and caliper components. In order to extend these benefits even further, we are now offering the same brake shim in a thicker 1.0mm version for a nominal surcharge. This is a highly recommended brake upgrade for drivers and teams who track a 135i.
